Combining Breast Reduction and an Abdominoplasty “Tummy Tuck”

Can you combine a breast reduction procedure with a tummy tuck?

This was a recent question on the breast.com.au forum:

Hi there, i am 41 years old and have had 3 children by c section. I am desperate for my breasts to be reduced as they are causing me back and neck pain because they are so heavy. Also when i look at them i feel depressed. I am 14DD now and before children i was a 12c. People around me are not on my side they’re telling me all these negative things and I read some of...Read More

And my reply was:

Breast Reconstruction after previous Radiotherapy

Here is a recent question I answered on breast reconstruction for a patient who had previously had a lumpectomy and radiotherapy.

The question was:

Hi, I am 38 years old and have just been diagnosed with a second breast cancer. It has been 9,5 years since my first operation. I had a lumpectomy and 12 nodes taken. The cancer was confined and I had radiotherapy. Yesterday I was given the great news that the cancer has not gone elsewhere, but need to operate. I have since had a family history of...Read More
